speaking about lowering kits for your rides..

I am not really book smart into modifying, engine, or anything mechanical. I know some but not alot. Well I was just wondering what is done when they "drop" your vehicle. I had mines done at the shop and I never really got around to asking them due to my busy work schedule and they being busy also. What is done? What is replaced? What is taken out? I know spindles in the front and coils in the rear but none detailed. Hope someone here can explain further, if aint too much of a problem.:duck:

Yes the same kit works for either one. Beware though we installed one of these kits on a 05 Avalanche were as the customer was using a set of brand new 17" Helo Maxx 6 we had sold him and they would not work. Even though their advertising says it works with 17" wheels it doesn't. Now 99 % of the time your not going to use 17" wheels with this kit on your Escalade, but in this case we found that it didn't work for this customer. We ended up selling him 20's just so he could end up using his truck again. Just another learning experience being in your own business.

hey v10king do you have a picture of the shock relocators because i purchased a kit from some guy on the form and later was told on this form that my shock extenders were wrong. (ya got ***t) . If mine is wrong i might just need the shock extender. If you want to look at mine go under mcgaughys delux kit (Help) on the fourm, the pictures are 2nd last to the bottom.
