The low oil level light come on each time I start the car if it has been setting for longer that about 30 minutes. I had the switch in the oil pan changed however it did not solve the problem. If I het the reset button the light will go off usually until the next time I start the car if has set for longer that 30 minutes. any solutions?

Honest question - Have you checked the actual oil level with the dipstick? Engine off for 10 minutes, level surface.

That level system does have a time delay built in - I don'y think it works when the engine is running - too many level variables possible. A delay probably gives oil time to drain back to the pan thus (hopefully) signaling sufficient oil level.

Was the wiring and connector itself checked for continuity?

Here's a standard Northstar oil pan...............
