2008 Cadillac STS low battery issue!!!
yesterday I jumped in my car and drove 1.4 miles to the gas station when I noticed near the dash board I was hearing weird clicking sounds.. I also noticed the personal setup screen wasn’t lighting up orange it was completely black… the info screen on the dash was saying “battery saver activated” I push my heater button then the car died! I asked someone to give me a jump and got another message saying “starting disabled theft…”
Car won’t start now!
(I live in Alaska where the nights are under 20 degrees, could this be from the cold??)
ALSO THIS IS A BRAND NEW BATTERY GOT IT NOT EVEN 2 weeks ago!!
PLEASE HELP ME!

KEY WONT UNLOCK DOOR IS THAT FROM THE COLD AS WELL??

I'm in Alaska. You're car should be running fine no matter how cold it gets. These cars run fine at -50F. You have a charging system problem and a dead/discharged battery: probably a dead alternator. You'll probably have to have it flat bedded to a shop to be repaired.
