I have been debating whether or not to go look at a 2000 escalade with just under 118k miles. Looks to be in relatively good shape.

Just looking for a cheap truck for the winter/rain so I can keep my DTS inside, and not subject it to the snow/salt/rain etc.

Owner says, much of the fuel system, (pump, tank, level sensor) has been replaced. Along with brake lines, brakes. And differential seals.

Is there anything else that I should be looking at when going to look at it? Guys wants 3k for it. Is this a decent price for what it is?

Thanks everyone.

I would check for the rear wiper (wiring is known to go bad), the rear suspension air ride motor (also known to blown out), and just general things to look for when getting an old car especially in the winter climates, like gaskets, rust, rubber seals (make sure nothing is leaking), etc. Make sure everything works like AC, its something people tend to forget about in the winter when buying cars. Lastly, 3K sounds very reasonable if the condition is perfect. But you can probably still knock $100-$200 off
