I need a recommendation for a dealership for servicing my V.

1) Experienced Writers and Techs

2) If 'loaner' car is needed, I get a Caddy (not a rental from a 3rd party. eg Enterprise. Not anything against Enterprise, but from a 'V' into Chevy compact?))

Thanks

I get my Escalade serviced at Paul Conte Cadillac in Freeport, LI. I have had no issues with them at all. I know they have a few customers that drive Vs. They give rent Deville's early in the morning and with an appointment. They do use Enterprise however. I know willsctsv bought his V from Paul Conte, although I'm pretty sure he does his own maintenance and only uses the dealership for warranty stuff. I think JOEYCTS-V uses Sarant Cadillac for service with no problems.

I use King O' Rourke in Smithtown after being recommended there by another member. They use enterprise but as long as you drop your car off early they will have cadillacs to give you. I went late once and they gave me an Envoy. To me it's not a big deal which car I get, as long as they fix my car right.

Skiddles, I saw you at Captree a few weeks ago when you were pulling out. I thought you were selling?

Saw a Black V on Old Country Rd accross from the Sourse Mall today...anyone????

I use Lynbrook Cadillac, bought and service my V there. I can't say that the experience is always great, but they try...or at least appear to try. The service mgr, Bill McArdle, seems to care about the customer. If I didn't live 2miles away, I'd probably go to another, as they don't have much experience with Vs...only sold 2.
The good news is that the District Service Manager, who I did not see eye-to-eye with, is gone and is being replaced by another...hopefully knowledgeable DSM. We'll see.

Sorry I missed you. Yes, my V is up for sale. But, as you saw, I will continue to have my fun until sold or lease turn-in(3/07). No sweat for me. If it sells, it sells. I know by next Spring, I will bump UP price. With nice weather and a V, I, definitely, wont care if their are no takers.
In the mean time, I will need to service the V. The scheduled service and warranty work team is number one priority. With my Mercedes, I was loaned a Mercedes. When I had my Vette, I was loaned a Vette. I'm spoiled.
