Hello All,

I was wondering if someone can tell me the location of the wire harness that is notorious for rubbing on the front driveshaft. Have an o2 sensor issue and wanted to rule the wire harness out before I start looking into the o2 sensors.

Thanks

The O2 sensors are probably more prone to fail than the harness rubbing. Good thing is they're not expensive.

Well, unfortunately by bad design it could be harness, there's somewhere on forum GM TB about the issue but it is NOT RECALL, my cost was 1300 to get harness fixed and BMC replaced, symptom is multiple codes for O2 sensors, fuel pump etc. stuff from the back of the vehicle, in my case it started as 2-3 codes then suddenly about 14, luckily I have found that TB before towing SUV to the dealer so I have saved on "diagnostic" as the technician reluctantly agreed on my diagnosis.

Well it rubs against transfer case.
