Just quick questions, do you guys get loaner cars when you have your vehicle serviced? I read somewhere that most Cadillac Dealerships will lend you a vehicle if the maintenance takes a certain amount of time?

I've never been there long enough to need one but it would be good to know in case I'm ever there for a while.

For warranty work I'm pretty sure they'll have to provide you a loaner, for maintenance if they did it'd be out of courtesy. Personally, I've had my truck for 3 weeks and it's going on another day down for warranty related issues (it was supposed to be ready today) for a total of 3 days. Not a big deal, as long as it doesn't become a habit. Just getting the bugs worked out...and trying to snag an STS-V or CTS-V while I'm up there...maybe that's why they keep having me come back!

First loaner was a Buick Lucerne, the one I have now is a Chevy Malibu. Yuck. I know it's not cool to look a gift horse in the mouth but I miss my truck. At least when my Mercedes was down I always had a current/new model as a loaner...

For the last 3 1/2 years that I have been using this dealer...they have never failed to furnish me a Cadillac to drive, when my car was there for more than a couple of hours.

I have two dealerships I goto here. One of them provides only a "shuttle service within 5 miles". The other dealership provides a loaner.

I've never got any kind of transportation from a Cadillac dealer beyond a ride in a shuttle van driven by a senile old man that keeps getting lost.

I had to take my truck in this morning to get the side mirror replaced (the mirror itself vibrated horribly at speeds faster than 70 mph) and I just got a ride in a van, no loaner car:(

Local dealers use cheap Budget, Hertz..etc and charge back to GM unless not warranty related..i.e. you got an issue but they're not certain it's covered under warranty..either they pay or YOU pay..and you get a shiiiiiiity Cobalt..etc.The last one I got had a check tire message, inside was dirty as hell as was outside....I wonder what they charge GM for that rental...

I have not had my two 07's in for any warranty work (knock wood) but when my 03' was in I would get some sort of Caddy, DTS, STS or CTS

Always get a new current year Caddy as a loaner. SRX/CTS/DTS . They usually give me a choice based on what is there. Only once were they "out" of caddys. So, I got a new Buick, and even then they offered to come out and exchange it for a Cadillac later that morning at my office as soon as one was returned. I did not care. Just give a clean newer car and I am happy.
