i like stock ride height myself but i would like to go a little off road camping and tow a travel trailer nothing radical and tow my 76 caprice to car shows.i just thought it might be better with a 3'' lift and air .maybe i will just buy myself a 4x4 truck nothing is in stone right now.when i bought my escalade i bought it to tow my lowrider to shows and to deliver puppies that we breed i never bought it for a night out on the town type of deal and now we want to buy a travel trailer.but to each his own.

I have to ask how does it handle towing a car?
I ask as I am planning on getting a car hauler for my Córdoba so I don't have to drive it to long distance car shows

Thanks
I know what you mean I had to replace the rears on my car not long after I got it as it would feel like you on rough seas whenever you hit a bump(not fun)
I put adjustable air shocks on the rear and they are great

you should be fine towing the car on a flatbed or enclosed... How much does the car weigh about? I ask because in another post you say your esky towed great with up to 3 tons and a 300lb projector in the cargo area

Those was two separate times

I have towed a camper trailer without issues
I will likely go with a flatbed trailer to haul my car on the gvwr on my car is 5600 pounds(not sure what the curb weight is)

I should have mentioned it was separate times my bad

I have towed cars before with my truck but that was with a dolly and not a trailer

I am sure my truck can handle it given as to how much I have towed before with it

I wonder if the trailer would need brakes or not

yes any car hauler will mostly have surge brakes and in some cases electric

Thanks

I have seen a few online that had electric brakes

That would mean I would need the brake controller

There have only been a handful of lifted Escalades represented here over the past decade. The ones I've seen were very well done. Given the infrequency of those kinds of posts, I'm not sure you'll find much info on lifting a Lade here.
