I've been having trouble with my license plate lights not working. When I unlock the car they flash on and off, but when I turn the headlights/taillights on the license plate lights stay off. I've checked for a bad ground (I can't seem to find any) I've checked the PK LP relay along with the 10 amp fuse, they look perfect, i even swapped them with known goods and still nothing. I can't seem to figure out what is going on..

When I unlock the car they flash on and off,
that eliminates the possibility of faulty bulbs/sockets/wiring/ground/etc -
HOWEVER - flashing when unlocking uses a different circuit/trigger than regular use with the parking lights -

have you checked the fuses under the back seat -
there are several relating to the parking lights circuits -
