has anyone replaced rear and front lights with LEDs? (not the headlights). if so which ones did you use? they need dual contacts to work they way they should instead of just being on normaly.
thanks in advance

There has been quite a bit on LED's down in Discussions: Appearance and Discussions: Electrical in the past. You need to do this swap correctly because a lot of the electrical system in these cars "sees" particular voltages and resistances in order to operate correctly. The replacement bulbs must supply that electrical value.

If you can't seem to find anything in Electrical, try to Google something like "cadillac forums deville led bulb" or "cadillac forums led bulb replacement".

nah the interior is easy. i already replaced all interior with white on the top and red on bottom LEDs. the outside is the one thts tricky. idk how many load resistors u need for it because it has quite a number of lights blinking when it comes to turn signals.

The interior is easy if you only replace the ceiling and foot well lights. If you go all the way to the IPC, HU, climate control...well is not that easy.
You can go with a big load resistor (just calculate the value knowing the wattage of the light bulb you replace) or you can replace the flasher with one that is not current sensitive.
