you might have to it depends on which way you go if you do like i am going to do you will have to get a heavy duty flasher so it don't do the rapid flash as if you have a blowed bulb superbrightleds.com is the place i got mine for the drl's just got to change the flasher unit before i get led's for my front blinkers but if you use resistors you won't have to change the flasher but i don't like splicing into the wires hope this helps

Well after searching high and low it seams nobody makes a 8 pin LED signal flasher for our trucks and im not into splicing resistors at every bulb. Somebody that has put Led Signal lights and found a flasher that will work correctly please enlighten me:)

go to oreilly auto parts or autozone and ask for a heavy duty flasher if they don't have try advanceautoparts all three of these have websites so you can order they should have it if they don't they can order it for you cause i asked before i decided to convert the whole trucks running lights and interior lights over to led i just ain't finished yet i still have to get the flasher to work you would think since these trucks have the towing package it would have a heavy duty flasher i found out the hard way after trying one of my led's i have in my drl's in the blinkers rapid flash drives me nuts if you don't find it post back

I have LED tails, which mean LED flashers in the rear. I had the hyper flash problem, and didn't want to deal with resistors and heat and what-not. What I did was go to Walmart, get two $3 trailer lights, and attached them under the truck, and added them to the blinker wiring. If you cover it with tape, the light won't be visible (I didn't cover mine) I have one mounted neatly on each side, under the vehicle, spliced only into the blinker wire for each side. Works like a charm.

Again - trailer blinkers for $3 at walmart. No one can see them and they keep ALL blinkers blinking at the speed that they should. $3 plus one wire connection on each side. Easy install.
