I just received a card in the mail inviting me to purchase the latest navigation DVD for my GM vehicle... "You'll have millions of Points of Interest at your fingertips, including hotels, restaurant, gas stations and ATMs."

$199.00 plus shipping and handling... I'm not inclined to spend the dough anyone else here thinking about the "new and improved" disc?

I would assume that is the same card I got in the mail today, and mine says that the "special price" of the offer is $199.00 + shipping and handling less 20%. For what its worth, if you try to order same on line (www gmnavdisc.com), it will try to stiff you for the $199 + figure. Apparently, the left hand doesnt talk to the right at GM:stirpot: Surprise Surprise:bigroll:

Mine says that the $199 is the special offer... If I don't act by 7/31/07 I won't be able to take advantage of this special offer... I have to mention the special "source code" as well when I place my order...

The offer I got looks different yet! Maybe it depends on the year car you have. I have a 2004. Anyway, my offer is $129 with source code S3L7CT07US. I have to believe that this is more than a firmware update. I would also assume it includes map updates from the text on the mailer card.

In the continuing saga of the Latest DVD Data Disc (Part 2) Today, I got another card in the mail from our friends at GM Nav Disc Center! The latest offer is: Disc that lists for $199US + S&H, now priced at $129US:bouncy: Still order by 07/31/07, but on source code S3L7CT07US. I don't know what is happening on 08/01/07, but maybe they will offer to pay us to take a copy!:stirpot: . Just thought some might be interested in the newer maps program, and didn't get their daily card from GM
