i asked for help with my timing belt problem, with no response!! bummer, in a nutshell. maybe if someone could just let me know the probable cause of the timing belt jumping off track and shutting down the engine with probable cylinder damage.
any response would be appreciated....robert:crying2:

more then likly the center timing belt tensioner pulley came apart, the end result is about 8 bent valves, depending on engine rpm at time of failure. If you have the front cover off look closly at the top pulley, you will see the ball bearings coming out of the bearing shell.
