I noticed that my driver's seat no longer viberates when I cross over into the next lane without signaling. So I went into settings and switched it to audible beep. That works just fine. Any ideas what could have happened? I'm imagining a loose wire or maybe a fuse. Any help would be appreciated. I think the audible beep will be annoying after awhile.

Audible is a lot less informative too. Maybe the motor quit? Have you tried switching it back to vibrating...sometimes that seems to reset things and get it working, or a battery disconnect for a time to reset things?

Well, since we had a bit of snow here this morning and they put chemicals on the road again and we went out this morning i was anxious to get it to the car was and have it washed, especially the underbody of the car. I did switch from beep to viberate and it seemed to work intermittedly, but both the beeping and the viberation worked while going through the car wash. this is my assessment, some of the road lines here are worn off or covered with a bit of snow and dirt, so I'm thinking that must be the issue. When I turned into my subdivision and crossed the right fog line my seat vibrated. So it's probably nothing, but I was curious if any others had had a similar issue. Thanks for your response to my post.

You're welcome. My car has picked up a snow line on the road that it thought was a road line, and because I did not signal the lane change alert notified me by vibrating one side of my rear end - mine not the car's, lol. On the other hand, the system in my car did not pick up a white road line that had become quite faded and so did not vibrate even though I did not signal when I changed lanes - as an aside, there's hardly ever a time when I don't signal - usually when I have to suddenly avoid something on the road such as a pot hole.

My wife drives the car more than me (bummer) and she says it's working beautifully. It's a great feeling when all systems are running as they should. I'm so OCD about my Cadillac. LOL.
