Kooks headers, DHM cut outs, and diameters of pipes?

I tried to order the cut outs today and they wanted to know if I wanted the 2.5 or 3" pipes. I know the stock system is 2.5". I am going to be running the Kooks headers, no cats and the cutouts. I assume after the kooks headers you still have 2.5" pipes correct? Dave over at DHM didnt want to sell me the cutouts before we knew.

As far as I know, BB is the only 3" exhaust. Are you going to mate the stock exhaust to the Kooks? I have BB headers and HF cats and am seriously thinking of putting the stock back on and doing the cutouts again. Hou much cutting and pasting is reguired to get the stocker to work?

Yes, I am keeping the stock exhaust. With his new system, all you do is cut a hole in the exhaust and weld the cutouts on, it's that simple. There's no need for any other pipe. He didnt know if the kooks system had bigger pipes. My question was it looks like the cut outs are placed in the middle of the car, so I would fdefinatley be using the stock exhaust, he kind of confused me. You could even leave your b&b exhaust on and just bolt these on.
If the cutouts go behind the cats and you're keeping the stock exhaut, don't worry about the Kooks. Sounds to me like the cutouts go in the catback section, which would still be stock in your application.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Is the stock piping 2.5"?:highfive:
