well, i had one problem with the 92 seville i bought yesterday; it didn't have the keyless entry remote.

my question is:

i was quoted 131.50 by a cadillac dealer to replace it. are there any other less expensive options like aftermarket substitutes for example?

None that will work with the OEM system as far as I know.
You CAN get a new aftermarket alarm that has similar functions but they are FAR more expensive than $131.50
