It's hidden inside the fob. Press down HARD on the rectangular tab at the bottom of the key fob face, then grasp and pull on the metal part of the key fob- it'll pull out, revealing the key.

As for the other responders - just picked the car up Friday and hadn't got to that part of the manual yet.

Yep he should have - but as I mentioned in another thread, nobody, (including the saleman), at that particular dealer knew much about the v2. But they sure wanted my service business and a good write-up on GM's survey form. Yup. Rob dealt with the same clowns in Seattle (Doug's Cadillac) who were supposed to provide me with a guaranteed rock bottom price via my bank's buying service. After the initial contact they totally ignored me...
