So... I have a 93 Seville STS, I tried the trunk jumper thing but dont know if I am not doing it right bc my locks dont cycle when I stick a wire into the socket and wrap it around the antenna. any ideas? I had to buy a remote btw :banghead:

I had a similar problem with my 93 Eldo Touring Coupe. The instructions leave out one critical detail. The trunk, hood and doors, and anything else that may generate any status code, must all be closed when programing a new Key transmitter. Otherwise active alarm conditions block the programming.
so... do i jump the wire in the trunk then close the trunk?
