Does anyone have any experience using the J-25400 Kent Moore EFI tester?

I've looked everywhere to find some instructions for Cadillac. I see where Datsun used the same analyzer.

The factory service manual mentions using J25400-300 for the HT4100 engine. No where can I even find that. I see a J25400 listed on eBay but all of them do not have the connectors. There was a listing that ended yesterday for the connectors but that was listed as J25400-10 or maybe it was -12. Very confusing.

I found one website that lists J25400 but no -300 or -10, -12.

Sorry, I don't know anything about this one. My first thought for it is to use just general diagnostic procedures applicable to any EFI suystem, and they all function similiar. Unfortunately, lot's of people like to browse this forum but not everyone responds. I try to help anyone I can when possible.

I sort of gather that the -12 unit is used for pre 1980 Cadillac EFI engines. From the eBay listing it appeared there were multiple connections in the photo. Buying just the J25400 test unit won't work because the connections to that are needed it appears to me. I see a multi pin female connection on the unit. Really strange you can see those listed but not a one of them have the connections to the multi pin connector. I even messaged a few sellers to ask. None of them had the connectors. I was like what use is the tester without it. I should have bid on it I guess. It only went for $99. Oh just something to add to my tool collection I guess if I ever needed it.

Tim, that was for the analog Bendix injection system, with 1980-->1975 availability. Take a look at the buttons on the bottom, it has selections for 2 banks of injectors. Much of what that thing does is accessible via diagnostics on the DFI setup. I suspect the thing in the manual is a white elephant.
