Would it make any difference replacing the stock air filter with the K&N drop-in filter? After I put 24's on my ride, I haven't been driving over 60mph on the freeways down here in Hawaii.

I think that performance benefits would be neglegable, and definitely (IMO) not worth the $50 or so to buy one........

Personally, I dont know much about those types of things....... So I cant really say...... But, I dont think that it will give very much improvement, especially for the money you'd spend on it......!

What about getting the whole intake system like the "Volant"? Any beneficial results at highway speeds?
I have had k&n filters in almost all my cars, suv's and trucks.
like a '92 suburban (drop in), '94 trans am (fipk kit), '94 vette (drop in),'95 chevrolet BOSS truck (drop in), '98 trans am (filtercharger kit modded), '01 durango R/T volant with k&n.
And to be honest only the trans am's felt better, so the drop in is really just a waste of money if you expect better performance. On the t-am's the intake was moddified with the kit's, so they did needed a less restrictive intake, and you could feel and measure the change in performance. On my '01 durango R/T, you don't feel any difference at all, but the milage improved just slightly. So if you have the money and don't know what to do with it, go for it, if you are looking for more go from you escalade change the exhaust and then the intake system. my 2cents.

I added to Volant along with Corsa exhaust and the Preditor computer, while I have not been back to the dyno since adding these items the SOTP feel and the G-Tech shows a big improvement in performance.
