I have an upgraded Valentine One and when following certain vehicles I get a weak K band signal off and on. When I pass the signal goes away. Occasionally I’ll get a similar ’alert’ from a big RV as well. Is this from a lane safety warning device or what? I’m not tailgating. :)

Probably collision avoidance coming from the vehicle in front.
My old Cobra talks to me a lot these days; Beemers are the biggest offenders imo.

We've had the same sort of question in our shop a couple of times. The mechanics think it's due to some sort of collision avoidance signal emission.

A backup warning system uses ultrasonics, so no EMI (RF) there.

I've never checked out Escalades but based on the size, maybe they come with a radar range.
