I just used Mcguiar's three-step paint cleaner, polish, and wax on my Deville. Let me know what you think! Besides, it seems like it's about time that someone posted good news about their Devilles on this forum, as opposed to the daily negative rumor mill.

Note: the Suzuki in the background is not mine, but belongs to a friend of mine who was over that day.

Sweet color combo! Just in case you were wondering, it's "Royal Maroon" with an "Academy Grey" lower moulding. Ya don't see many in that color!

Thanks a lot! I get compliments on this baby all the time! It also runs perfectly, AC works fine. Chad, are you sure it's Royal Maroon? I was told that it was Dark Cherry Metallic by Sandy a while back.

Unless they changed the name in 1993, which they very well could have, it's "Royal Maroon". I've got the exterior color chart for the '92 deVilles, Fleetwoods and Sixty Specials and the maroon color in '92 is called "Royal Maroon", there's no Dark Cherry listed anywhere.

In 1993 it was called Dark Cherry Metallic. The '93 Sixty Special Ultra was that color.

Thanks! I used Advanced Auto Part's knock-off of Armor All to do that. You have any suggestions as to how I could make it cleaner?

*Lol yeah, I suppose, although it actually has almost as much power stock as my 4.9.

* According to this website, Dark Cherry and Bronze were new colors for that year. My problem is that from some angles, my paint does look like a cherry color (see the side shot photos), while from some angles and lightings, it looks like a more maroon or reddish color. I don't have the sticker with the paint code inside the door, so I can't say for certain. Whatever it is, it shines up fast!

When I first saw those pics, the car looked like it was a deep brown..."Autumn Brown" is the name for that color offered in '93. But then I checked my exterior paint color combo card and it said that "Autumn Brown" was only offered with the beige lower moulding, not silver.

Does it say what colors are offered with academy gray? Or, more precisely, what colors are offered with academy gray body moulding and interior that look like my exterior?
