I just picked up my new 08' CTS W/ Nav

Red with Cashmere interior looks great, the lighter interior really showcases the new found fit and finish.

The new direct injection is a vast improvement over the previous options.

Congratulations. I just looked at a red with cashmere and it's a great combination. I also would like to hear about your impressions after driving it and exploring all the features.

Shelton - Congratulations! I have a red one with light titanium & nav. Isn't the voice recognition cool! Yesterday I wrote down all the voice commands so I could familiarize myself with all of them instead of using "help" function. I have 130 miles on mine now and am taking my wife on a day tip today. One question. Can you set the exit position for your drivers seat? No mater what I do, it always moves to the full back position no matter where I program it to. Thanks.

Any chance you can post some pics of your interior? I've only seen a few of the titanium and the picture quality hasn't been the best. I'm very interested in seeing some more but can't find very many. Are you familiar with the interior color Stone on some cars? Not quite gray, and not quite white? I'm hoping the titanium/black combo looks as good as it sounds! What are your feelings?

Tony407 - Anything in particular you want to see in the iterior? It's so light that you can just make out that it is titanium and not tan.

Specifically, the areas mixed with black. Like the doors, dash, and floor. Any pictures showing the contrast of the titanium and black would be great. I believe that's what I like best about that particular color combo. Both the black and cashmere interiors are nice, but I think each has too much of just one color, especially the black. That's what I "think" I like about the titanium interior - it's more broken up and it's more interesting to look at. But I can't say for sure without a better look...and I'm afraid my local dealerships probably won't have much of a selection when they finally start getting them in.

If you have the time, any pics would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Tony407,

Here's a couple pictures of the interior. The panels are a very light titanium. I think the light titanium with ebony is the nicest combination.

VERY nice gm_emg!! Unless I don't like this in person (if I can find one), I think this will be the interior color that I will get. Thanks a bunch!

I have the tan, i looked at both the titanium and the Black. Althought the black is always a solid option to look very sharp it does not showcase the amazing craftsmanship that is in my opinion of the strongest selling points. The titanium is nice as well however with both the black and titanium thye do not truly match the higest level of the dash which is in reality a very dark brown not a black.

As for the driving it is awesome! Very strong performance from the DI but the signature Cadillac ride! They really got it right this time.

As for the seat moving to the farthest back seat mine works fine, it goes to the position i have programmed as easy exit.

Any other questions? I would love to answer!

So there's a way to program it so the seat doesn't move at all when the car is shut off? I find it difficult to get out when the seat moves back and/or the steering wheel moves up.

Tony407 - Page 3-77 of owners manual has instructions on setting the Easy Exit Setup using the DIC. You have 8 different combinations of seat and steering wheel movement choices on exit, from none move to all move. I've got mine set on Tilt/Telescope that moves the steering wheel up and in, but leaves the seat where it is until I get this problem fixed.

I sent an email to a high level executive at GM this morning (I also work for GM) telling them how much I loved the car but was disappointed with the memory function (Seat exit position and having to push a button to recall settings) . A half hour later I got an answer back saying they would get a specialist to help me. I'll let you know what happens.
