Got a phone call this morning a girl I know asking if I was interested in a cadillac. My mind was saying no...go back to sleep, but my mouth said yeah call me back later today and Ill check it out. Turns out its a 79 sedan deville with a blown headgasket. Defineatly started loosing interest right here. I should probably also add that I was about to buy a new carb for my 77 coupe for 300 bucks. I go check out the car and its in pretty good shape. a scrape on the lower rear quarter, one tail filler is gone, 3 hubcaps missing, dash cracked headliner starting to fall, and the vinyl top is cracked in several places. On the other hand Paint is pretty good the seats are in great condition and so is most the interior with the exception of cracked arm rests. So im thinking I really dont need this car, but I ask how much anyway. She says no less than 75. so I handed her 75 bucks and she threw me the keys and told me to move it. Got it to where I could work on it, everything seems to work pretty good, one signal light burnt out and one window doesnt roll down, but the 8 track works, so Im pretty happy.

Sounds like it's in the shape my 78 was when my parents got rid of it. Will probably take a lot of work to get it into nice shape again.
Wow! a car that for a little bit of money could be back in pretty good condition. Or its a great template for a hot rod caddy!
