I had the stealership do mine last year when I got my tires replaced. They put in new pads front and rear and Turned all 4 rotors for $550. And boy do I regret having the dealer do it. You would be better off(cheaper) doing them yourself, and putting in new rotors and pads. And then you wouldn't have to worry if someone will mess up your Calipers.

I always order my brake parts from Brake Motive. They are an auction site vendor, but a full set for an STS-V for slotted/drilled rotors with ceramic pads is $275 shipped, $217 for just slotted. Zinc plated too to give you that little extra shine behind the wheels. I trust these brakes completely. The company is active on the Corvette boards and I have used them on my Corvette and my Camaro. They made the braking a lot sharper and resists fading so much better than stock. Have yet to have any of these rotors warp on me. Any decent mechanic worth their salt can change the brakes for you if you don't feel up to it.

I put these in my 05 CTSV and never had any problems and they didn't fade at all!
Great price on a good product..

I'd say more but don't wanna throw this thread too off topic. Anyways, once one of you get your $275 brake motive brakes, let me know how you like em before I spend like $500 on the same ones :p

Correction. Went to the eBay site JUST NOW. It's only $217 for the drilled AND slotted, with pads and shipping included. GREAT PRICE!

My question is, do you find that there is excessive dust with these pads? I swear, my factory pads are TERRIBLE with the dust, so much so that I'm going to change them out at 17k mi. I DON'T want to replace them and run into the same issue.

----------

FACK. For $217 bucks I'll chance it. Worth it just for the appearance even if dust is the same, which from the vette forum, seems not to be the case. We shall see.

You know the price is good when you don't need rotors OR pads and you make the purchase anyway...
