I just bought a soon to become a classic car in the 90 Cadillac DeVille. How hard is it to replace the BCM in it. My dashboard for the fuel gauge and the climate control is not working properly.

Yes, specifically behind the glovebox. Easy to get to & replace.
Plenty of threads here to reference.

Welcome aboard and congrats on the purchase!

Thanks she is a bit of a basket case needs some interior parts and pieces things like a headliner a couple door panels window motors and wiper motor issues. But mechanically it is sound as can be compression was at 140 PSI on all cylinders 15% leakage in cylinder leakdown test most of which was by the rings. Radio is screwed but will put a modern one in it to upgrade that. The biggest plus for it was NO RUST anywhere on the freaking body at all. I know I am going to have to put some money into it over time to get it back to the road cruising beauty she was when new.
