I have driven used cars and trucks my entire life, and just pulled the trigger on a brand spanking new 2003 Chevrolet Silverado LS 1500 Z-71 . She is loaded for bear and has all the whistles and bells. The only thing I didn't get was XM radio and a 6 disc changer. It is Arrival Blue with charcoal leather buckets. Rides like a dream, and I found out about the heated seats by accident. My ass was on fire only 1 mile from the dealer, and I had to call the salesman to ask how to turn them off.
I am probabbly the only person to have remorse in getting a new vehicle, but I did love the 4-Runner. I still have it, but its for sale and I sure will miss it. My wife still has our other 4-Runner, and we will keep it for at least another 6 months til its her turn for a new vehicle. I almost had to get a new truck due to the fact that my 4-Runner had depriciated all it could, and the new truck will save me big buck come tax time. My company will cover the cost in Vehicle allowance and I got 0% interest.
