someone confirm this, but I think I just found out that the exhaust manifold for the 2004-2007 2.8 and 3.6L cts has the same part number as the 2010 camaro 3.6L

umm.. that could be good news.

There were some Lund headers for the 3.6L listed in the classifieds about 2 months ago....If the manifold is the same on the 2.8 and 3.6, then those headers would have fit my 2.8L right?

$600 for used Lund Headers? Are you kidding? Thats more expensive then Lund was originally selling them for....
I don't think they're used. And 600 sounds pretty good compared to what I would pay for a custom job at the local shop. These are high quality headers. Was Lund really selling them for less than 600?

Lund sold them originally for around the 600 mark
Then they stopped producing them

a guy on this board named pietroriamondi or something close to that bought out the last of their stock.
then HE sold them to members of the board for like 1200. nice guy huh?

anyway, with our cars and the camaro having the same exhaust manifold part and hence design, that means that the jba headers, which are made as bolt on replacements to the exhaust manifolds, now have a much higher probability of fitting our cars.

you should research topics before you comment on them. most of the time you are pretty right on with your info, but not on this. i live less than 80 miles from the famous Lund Cadillac in Phoenix AZ where they made these headers and other performance parts for the CTS. and these headers were going for over $600 when they were around and being produced. so to find them now and at the same price, i think is quite fair. if you think it is to much, then dont bid and dont make baseless comments...plain and simple

Kael,

The company that produced the headers for Lund is still in business and can still make them for around $650.

Ill admit that I was harsh, but it wasnt a baseless commment. I inquired about these back when I had an 03 CTS. I remember the quote, and it wasnt much more then 600 for brand new headers. They are rare, and that can increase their value, tho, so more power to you. The JBA's are slightly cheaper, ceramic coated also, and brand new...but unproven on the CTS. The Lunds gains are dyno proven, and that goes along way...

I know you said they can still make "them" and by them Im guessing you mean the shorty headers. What about long tubes, I think it would be in best interest to get long tubes either made or from the camaro's

Cad4Life,

I suggest you contact Ryan at Jakey Products to enquire about long-tube headers. He does a lot of work on Cadillacs, for some dealers around Phoenix including Lund. He worked for a number of years for Billy Boat (B&B), where he designed cat-back systems for the CTS and CTS V. Email him at:

Good luck!
