Rear.

Yes ladies and gents I have now joined the club. It is a fracture in the casing in the back of the differential...

My service guy at caddy says its covered... Even with the BMR pinion support.

What year is your V? Were there any warning signs? (My 2005 has not whined or broken yet).

The warning was louder than usuall whine and a big puddle in my garage... Oh and its an 04

No not at all... Just a drive from gurnee il, to bolingbrook il.









And maybe a dirty, wheel hop filled burnout at the dealership where i was picking up plates for my 07 denali....

well its a funny topic. I brought my car in for one of those infamous rear side panel clips. My service advisor is a young guy. I asked him how some people get the newer diffs. And he said that they don't get to pick. It is all about part numbers and which replaces which. Is that true Tony?

No. When you look up the PN for a CTS-V rear diff, the old # has been replaced by the new- period.

It's impossible to order the old style diff anymore.
