This is for sure an April Fools joke.Well, the gas mileage I've been getting with the V has been bugging me for awhile. Only getting around 15-16 mpg in the city is just not acceptable, especially considering the sheer number of cars on the road today. We've got to start thinking about the impact that this has to have on our environment. I really can't justify it to myself anymore. I guess the ol' angel on my shoulder has finally prevailed.
So anyway, I found a great deal on my new (to me) car. 2007 Prius with only 8,2XX miles. I pick her up today! I'm so excited. I'll be putting my current V up for sale in the classifieds today or tomorrow if anyone is interested. Anyway, since I'm sure you'll all want to see pics, here she is!

It's in great shape. I don't really want to post up the price I'm paying until everything is finalized, but let's just say that it's a steal. Well below book. What do you all think?
Yeah ditto! I'd be pumped to get 15 in the city.... I'm rocking a 12I call April FOOLS on the PRIUS AND the 15-16 city mpg!!!!
Or, you got a real gentle ***** foot . . . I am lucky to get 13 in the City!:hide:
hah, i bet 99% of the people that buy a prius could care less about how "environmentally friendly" it is... they just care that they get 50 MPG.Gotta be April Fools, but if not...there was a an article printed here awhile ago
how the Prius is really no better for the enviroment than a Hummer, something about where the batteries are produced or something along those lines.
