Oh man, I replaced my old turd battery this morning, gave the ol' V a turn of the key and VRROOOOOMMMMM!!! <- The sweet rumble of full on B&B headers and 3" exhaust all the way back :cloud9:

It's been sitting in the garage just waiting for about 3 months while the nasty weather subsided enough for me to be able to stroll around town in the V. Today, I finally got that chance....and oh how I love thee.

If you ever want to appreciate your V, just let it sit for awhile while you drive your jeep/yugo/pinto/insert p.o.s. winter car here________ and my friends, appreciate you will.

In the infamous words of ursher baby...."it feels so gooood tooo beee baaack"

Excuse me while my b0ner subsides.

 I'm right there with you...I drove the V maybe 5 times all winter (including the 80* day we had here in February) my daily driver is a 96 Escort hatchback....I love the gas mileage, but this whole week I've drove the V....it's like a drug

Luckily I have no snow to contend with but I get that feeling after returning from vacation or something! 3 Months, couldn't do it.

I feel you....I've been driving home at lunch all week and switching out my '87 318i for the V...and then taking the V for about a 45 min cruise back to work....

Welcome back. I feel the same way after being on a work trip for a week and then coming home. There is a huge difference from a rental Malibu to the V lol

I hear you on this! I'll probably be waiting another month before I can get mine out of the garage. I just installed a freshly modified shifter from Brian last night too.... that's making me want to drive the V so much more!!

You're right, Shane. Got mine out yesterday (well, actually, I cheated last week with brief drive before weather caused me to put it back in the garage) and just got back from my annual checkup with my doc. Even spun the tires a little after being annoyed at some lady who couldn't get her car through an intersection fast enough at a four-way stop. Yup, even at my age, I just love to row my V.

Uh-h ... what's a b0ner?

I don't put mine away. But I only drive it 2-3 times a week, so I'm always excited when I take her out.
As for driving a beater, you have no idea how good the car felt after driving a U haul all day when we moved my grandparents.

I even forgot how great heated seats are!

Ya, $3.55/gallon (oh wait that's for regular ugghhh) makes me wanna pimp lean in the Caddy, not jam on it :(

Now I just have to get on the highway and stretch 'er out.....

:cop:

You know, Shane, no BS this year about going to some Chi-town crap. You gotta make it to the Dream Cruise this August (the 20th) and meet up with us. Bring your by-then supercharged V, bring your GF, but bring your white Indiana butt to Detroit. With Nutz from Cleveland, we'll have a such a great time. :lildevil:

Hellz ya firearmz. What do you do for a living? I have too many expensive hobbies not necessarily in this order:

Guns,
Glen Livet,
Guitars,
Girlfriend,
Going to Colts games,
and the Caddy (maybe I'll name it Greta so it begins with a G also lol)
