So my 2011 cts had some front end work done to it (I hit a porcupine for 7000 in damages) when I got the car back from the body shop the horn, remote start, heated seats and a check engine light is on. Are these issues connected?
On a side note the body shop is not taking responsibility for these issues at this time.

As others have said, contact your insurance company. The body shop is just trying to weasel their way out of that one. They had to have taken pictures before the repair to send estimates to the insurance company.
The check engine light will prevent your remote start from working for sure.

How long have you had this vehicle? How long was it in the shop? Does it have a sunroof? Coupe or sedan? Did you go through insurance for this repair?

I do suspect that the accident caused wiring issues that could be at the root of your issues but if the car was left outside at the body shop for a lengthy period AND it has a sunroof AND it rained, you could have clogged sunroof drain syndrome AND a failing battery AND/OR wiring damage.
