1988 Sedan de Ville - HTI 4100 V8 4.5L

Engine Running

1. Is it normal for the ISC Plunger to rotate slightly while it is working? (throttle engaged):)

No. Can you turn it freely by hand?

BTW, the HT4100 and 4.5 are 2 different engines. You have a 4.5.

I don't know if it's normal or correct, but I have observed mine doing this as well.

you can see them turn a bit, but the screw end of it that's adjustable should be tight enough that it won't move on it's own.
