That is a rather large left-wing stretch of the imagination.

I am sure that global warming is man (or woman) made. If all humans disappeared, there would not be any global warming. Or at least, no one left to care.

A necessary solution may be to cull the herd, and cut down on the population and thus the global warming. Trying to blame others, or people before us, is just part of the sickening politics.

The problem is even without humans the temperatures would still fluctuate too much (for humans) and it gets worse over time. While the temps fluctuate the average will keep going up with the aging of the sun.

Playing defense is a losing proposition, not to mention bankrupting us. The sun is the major source of energy. The only fix that isn't playing whack-a-mole is to perfect technology to control how much of the sun's energy gets reflected back into space.

It's been done on a small scale and could do the job. The only reason it isn't being pursued is it doesn't dovetail with the elites' and control freaks' needs. If you can solve the problem for peanuts compared to what they propose, they can't use the issue to control the masses.

We don't know how to prove that we are connected to global temperature rise. It doesn't appear to be possible. A reasonable and smart human being can look at the situation and deduce that 7.5B people probably have some effect on the planet's climate...but to what extent is unknown. That's not good enough for the green tech industry that needs fear to generate profit...so they created the fallacial "correlation is causation" claim to attempt to create that fear, and man has it worked. The funny part about this situation is that the truth is far scarier - the truth is that whether or not we caused it is irrelevant. One thing we do know is that there is very little we can do to stop or slow the warming. 80% of the CO2 we dump into the atmosphere is from the energy and manufacturing sector, and 75% of that comes from developing countries (mostly in Asia). Those countries do not have the means nor the interest to clean up their act. The only thing we could possibly do to change that is to stop buying their products. Anyone want to claim that that's even remotely possible? Cause it's not. Even the most "climate conscious" Tesla-driving-vegan-crossfitting-social-justice-warrior is not giving up their Macbook, iPhone, and Starbucks.

So it's time to stop arguing about who's right and start working together to prepare. We've adapted to changes before and we will continue to do so. This is no different.

Hello all,

Could your skilled fellow countrymen at NASA either neutralize gravity or build a big rocket to change the Earth's orbit a few tens of thousands miles in direction Mars.

Then climate would cool a bit.

Same procedure to be applied when the Sun starts burning Helium instead of Hydrogen to become a Red Giant which will make Earth evaporate.

We need BIG rocket please. No SpaceX shit.

Henry Ford was experimenting before WWII with making cars out of soy bean plastics.

The continuing eruptions and lava flow at Kilauea has contributed no added heat to the atmosphere ...............

Nor do eruptions at any other volcano ............ it's them damn car radiators.

on that same note -
I wonder how much heat and carbon was released by the california wildfires -
I bet the "experts" will never even bring that up - at least not in public -

So why waste money and energy to produce asteroid killers. Let the asteroid strike Earth. The resulting cloud will cool the Earth (again), and wipe out all the dinosaurs (again). Then in a few million years, we will have plenty of fossil fuel again.

What? No more dinosaurs? Humans and other life forms can do the same job.

So eloquently put. I am often in the middle of constant political arguments due to my current career path, but I have never seen an analysis (and I've heard hundreds of them) that is so reasonable and realistic as this one here. Good stuff.

here is an idea -
at 12:00 noon - your local time -
have all 5 million Danes face the sun - and on 3 - blow as hard as you can -

1.....2.....3 - BLOW - that much hot air should do something -

actually - the solution is included within the second paragraph of article I posted -

The study said the new swath of vegetated land, which CNN reported was roughly the size of France at the time,
caused a massive decrease in carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere.

plant a bunch of trees -

France is only 250,000 square miles - smaller than the state of Texas -
now - we don't want a MASSIVE decrease in CO2 - so - just plant trees over a 125,000 sq mi area -
wait 100 years - PROBLEM SOLVED -
