The only major issues are in pictures 2 and the last one. The gap shown in the first picture is normal. The ripped rubber sleeve is a costly fix. Beside getting the part, the whole inner and outer tie rods need to come off and possibly the axle. The other ends still have significant rubber, although a bit dirty and rust covered, they appear fine.

How many miles on your SRX? I have same vehicle and need to keep an eye out for this. Looks like you're in for a lot of work and your piggy bank will be lighter! Good luck.
115,000 miles. Replaced the sway bar end links yesterday to solve my thump from the front suspension. Shocks need to be replaced soon as well but luckily I don't have to deal with MRC. I'd like to swap for stiffer springs at the same time. Might go ahead and do lower control arms at the same time so I don't have to deal with them down the road.

Mine has 76k and I am not looking forward to something like that. Was thinking of getting rid of mine but at an average of 7.5k a year it will be a couple of years. Love this vehicle, only major items were
transfer case chain,ps line leak, ac comp, and normal maint. Not bad for 10 yrs. I just replaced the original battery a couple months ago not because it was bad but to avoid problems!

Honestly the end links should have taken an hour, tops. Unfortunately for me the top bolt on the passenger side was rusted/seized in place. Ended up borrowing a cutoff wheel from a neighbor and cutting it out.

There are no steering rack boots for sale, they only come together with the rack itself. I wasn't able to find any aftermarket solution. The the main problem that I see on the pictures.
Not sure where oil is dripping from on the last picture. If steering rack, then it is costly either to repair or replace.

Seems like Kotek 27-0163 might be it. Didn't find one when I needed it.... I tried universal cut-to-the-size boots made of rubber but they got torn by the inner tie rod within a month. So put the old plastic boot back with a tiny hole.
