What an ass, sure, the M5 does it, but that's different, this is a 3.2L V6, not a V10 lol
Yeah, he's trying to pull the new M5. Should someone do something about this? This is something that is just completely unacceptable to me. It's almost just as wrong that we sit idly by without doing something about it.

Yeah, I actually sent him a message asking what sort of engine mods he has and why he didnt list them. You know, seeing as the 3.2 is rated 100-150hp less than what he's quoting. I also inquired as to how changing when the transmission shifts generated more hp. I'll let you know if I hear anything back.

I wonder if ebay offers rewards for fingering fraudulent claims by sellers...

I would just feel bad for the guy buying the car thinking he is actually getting 300-350hp. But then again, anyone who buys a car without doing research wouldn't really care anyways.

I agree that something should be done!

I have reported fraudulent auctions to eBay in the past, but they were for auctions where the Seller would not deliver the goods, change their user name and run the exact ad (watch with serial number). eBay took the ad down, but didn't offer a reward for identifying a fraud. Not sure if they would take this off for fibbing about the hp.

It was a PM, theres no way to leave a public comment, and I'll be dammed if I'm gonna bid.

Reserve is not met..It's up to $12,100. Did you notice no pics of the engine compartment. You can't see the Lund SC or headers. Lund did get 1100HP out of the 3.2 engine. :p
The only engine mod I saw listed was the dual exhaust...

Yeah that's crazy, I asked him a few questions myself. Lets see if he gets back to me.
I've yet to hear a response to my questions; I'm debating if we should message the current "winning bidder" to warn him as well...

I just sent a message to current bidder..i hate auction trolls trying to rip you off. had a guy who tried to rip me last week by shipping cross border by ups instead of united states postal service (which he advertised) and ignored my explanation on why (huge brokerage charges with ups and fedex) and shipped the way he wanted to. when i got my guitar (nice fender strat..goes well with my caddy:)) sure enough, $50 extra in duties. i was going to encourage him to reimburse half that until i checked over the guitar that he said had no dings, dents or scratches except for small scratches on the back. it had a small scratch on the upper edge on the side and 1/4 inch dent on the front, so i told him between not shipping he way he advertised he would and damage that he had said did not exist, i expected all duties and shipping money back. he ignored me, until i emailed ebay for his contact info (which gave me his phone #, exact location) and 30 minutes later, he had sent my money back.

can't give those trolls an inch!:)

Yeah, imho, writing him an email/msg is a waste of time. Do we really think he'll say "Yeah, I'm rippin' them off." ? The highest bidder and Ebay are the ones we should email. I just sent one to ebay since someone has allready emailed the hig bidder.

I'm a caddy lover and an ebay lover, so this infringes on too much of my territory. I say we find him and slash his tires. And then drop his 220 hp engine on his face.

Sorry...little carried away.

Too bad I forgot my ebay login, so I can't bid on that bad boy. Reminds me of the guy who bought my vette last year and has it for sale again. My engine grew in displacement by .3L and the mods I did now do different things.

here's what the high bidder has to say..he's got his smart hat on:)

"a that guy is living in a different world. He also has the reserve set at 29,999.00 (good luck with that). What is the address for the caddy forum I need some good info on the CTS."

gave him our link and told him to come on over for a visit:)
