'cuz it seems like a good market opportunity...

my '04 has just pitched a fit for the 2d time, refusing to crank, keeping the key and flashing instrument lights when I needed to go to the airport

I'd really rather not replace the ecu again a couple of years from now. I love almost everything else about this car, but don't like the prospect of being stranded when the ecu fails with little warning. maybe the answer is to change the ecu every 25,000 miles... :lildevil:

the thread i was refering to is title "i thin my ecm gone bad"

but it doesnt suggest any paticular aftermarket ecm, it is stating problems and what may fix it somewhat
