In 1984 just before My dad died He bought a 1984 Eldorado Convertable with a gold package and Replica Spare tire Holder above the Rear Bumper. They put my Mom's name on the door in gold pinstriping. The car has 44,000 mostly highway miles and get driven about 500 miles a year by my mom on sunny days.
I can't say I have ever seen another one.

Cadillac History site says there were 3300 convertibles produced compared to over 74000 standard coupes. I would take it many of those convertibles are no longer around. They are rare.

The spare tire holder and gold package were options that were available.

Pretty dang rare indeed. Still it probably has more sentimental value to you than it does monetary value to others.

Low mileage 84 Edorado Rag top with the Gold package and Continental kit? Nice!
