I opted not to use the adapter to bypass amp and rewired all the speakers when i had my carpet out to install pioneer in my caddy, Bose speakers have to much low tone but still sound great..

Is a size standard for car stereos, single DIN and double DIN. Double DIN is twice the size of a single DIN but are slightly shallower. There is also a 1.5 DIN. The size of a DIN is 7” width by 2” height (4" x 7" for double DIN).

Regular radios are single din and the big one pictured in twice as big ,hence the double din..you can put either in your car but double din will look better..Is a size standard for car stereos, single DIN and double DIN.
