I'm not trying to flex my brain muscle here,:bighead: but, 2007 model year was the start of the powertrain warranty on all GM vehicles. All Cadillac warranties are 4 years / 50,000 miles since at least 2000. Starting around 2005 or 2006 they added the GM 5 year / 100,000 powertrain warranty.
For most of the V owners (at least here) we will run out of years before mileage. My dealer has offered to CPO my car; but I have been waiting only because my '06 didn't have an inservice date until June '07 -- when was your car actually put 'inservice' that is the official warranty start date.I have an '06 and my warranty is 4yrs/50k miles. I was extremely ticked when I heard they switched to 5ys/100k miles in '07.
