How does it sound?

I was really disapointed when I hooked my iPod into my home system. It doesn't sound nearly as good as CDs.

what about for a 2003 cts with nav, but no xm?

The car needs to be "xm ready".. I am not sure about the 03.. was XM an option?

It sounds great.. close, but NOT up to the level of cds (BUT WAY WAY better than a FM modulator)... Of course, I can't store 250 hours of music on a cd- thats why I have an iPod.
