as i recall the original repair was essentially cleaning, then came replacing the lug nuts, then came the 2 piece rotor then back to replacing the lug nuts. when my v started making the clicking noise the repair was the 2 piece rotor which i got. then the noise came back and they replaced the lug nuts when i had it in for an oil change. the noise is back (slow speed turns, etc) and i'll have the dealer look at it at the next oil change. it's the only problem i've had with the car ('12 sedan, 14k miles) and it's not such a big deal. not sure if there are any more fixes for this problem.
Hi kehock,

I am sorry that there has not been a resolution for the clicking noise coming from your CTS. I see that you plan on bringing it up with the dealership next time you are in for an oil change. If you would like an additional layer of assistance when you take your CTS in, please feel free to PM me with your VIN, mileage, dealership, and contact information.

Have a great night,

Yup wheels are also fixed for now no more wheel clicking turning left or right. The dealer installed 20 new lug nuts with Teflon and cleaned the mating surfaces
Hi 2010 V-MAN,

I’m glad to hear your CTS-V has been fixed and there is no more clicking while you are turning right or left. I’m happy the dealership was able to address this issue. Please don’t hesitate to private message us if you have any questions. Thank you for keeping the community updated!

Just to dogpile on the thread... I had the same issue. Took it in to the dealer, who looked up the TSB and changed the lug nuts. Cost me a chunk of change, since I'm out of warranty. Anyway, it seemed to solve the problem. This was earlier this year. This week, however, I noticed that the clicking is back. The logical conclusion is that it's some sort of dirt or grime buildup. I very highly doubt that there's anything that can be done to permanently solve the issue. It'll be a matter of jacking the car up, removing the front wheels, and cleaning the mating surfaces 3 to 4 times a year.
