On my 02 Eldorado ESC the A/C comes out the dash vents until it comes out the floor vents..It will revert to dash vents after a while... What's the fix?

What's the fix?
it depends on the problem -
we will need a LOT more specific information to properly diagnose your issue -

first - a brief explanation of your system -
your car has the old - hybrid - vacuum/electronic system -

temperature is adjusted by ELECTRIC actuators -
air distribution is controlled by vacuum motors -

the "default" position is DEFROST -
meaning - if the system loses vacuum - all the vacuum motors retract
and air is directed to the defroster -

with the exception of DEFROST -
YOU have no control WHERE the air blows from -

if you select a cabin temp ABOVE ambient temp - heat -
air comes from the floor vents -

if you select a cabin temp BELOW ambient temp - cold -
air blows from the dash vents -

if the cabin temp is the SAME as the ambient temp -
you might get air from the dash vents and/or the floor vents

you can not get heat from the dash vents -
and you can not get cold air from the floor vents -

======================

moving on to your issue - try this -

in the AUTOMATIC mode - set the cabin temp to full cold -
at idle speed - cold air should blow from the dash vents -

drive the car - accelerate hard -
does cold air continue blowing from the dash vents -
OR - does it divert to either the floor or defroster vents -

next - do the same test with heat -
set the cabin temp to full hot -
hot air should be blowing from the floor vents only -
drive the car - accelerate hard -
does hot air continue blowing from the floor vents -
OR - does it divert to either the dash or defroster vents -

report your results -

On start up,cold air from dash vents, floor it and no change.Drive around and sometimes it may go to cold air coming from floor or not..When cold air is coming from floor, after driving a while, maybe 15-20 minutes, cold air comes out dash vents again...BTW..emergency brake pedal does not return...???

SO - you need to check for vacuum problems -

the easiest way is to use a vacuum gauge -
start at the parking brake release - and work your way back -

if you DO have vacuum at the parking brake release -
disconnect the vacuum hose - plug it - and re-test the climate control functions -

if the climate control functions perfectly -
replace the vacuum parking brake release motor -
OR - just leave the hose plugged -
