hello all, so i replaced my interior light switch and am still having this problem where my interior lights will stay on once i shut the door. It seems its usually after the car is exposed to sun and heat. Its fine at night, and today i did a test where i sat it outside, interior lights off, came back in a few hours and the lights were on. any ideas? :cookoo:

One of the door jamb sensors could be grounding out.

Had the same problem in my 75 coupe. turns out, the little "reading" lights on the pillar behind the front head rest were being shorted to ground by the surounding interior cover panel. I removed the panel and rerouted the wires to be within the body rather than between it and the panel, and i haven't had the problem since.
