I was at my dealership today for what they call a pit stop.... they top off all fluids and tires free of charge monthly. Nice.
While I killed time I checked out the new XT6, I plan to go back for a test drive and will share my feelings at a later date.
A salesperson approached me in the show room while I was looking the XT6 over. (My dealer is a combo of Chevy and Caddy). He is a Chevy salesperson but was most helpful.
As we chatted about the XT6, I asked if there was an upgraded power plant available. He went to investigate, (during our chat before he left I stated that for my buy one it would have one of the twin turbo V6 currently available in Cadillacs).
The gentleman returned and stated he talked to the owner of the dealership and that there will be a V8, coming soon and that to owner did a search to find me one but none are available as yet.
I would expect the 3.0 TT V6 from the CT6, or better the 3.6 TT from the V-Sports, the XTS and CTS.
I fully expect the Blackwing V8 in the next Escalade, but a version of it in the XT6 hmm
