When upgrading from a 78mm to 90mm Throttle Body, is it necessary to change the stock intake tube, or will it fit over the larger TB?

Strangely enough, I couldn't find the answer in a search. Thanks in advance.

Yes, but to put an LS2 intake tube on I'd need to check the MAF size and plug the air fitting, too. If the stock one will fit, I'll just keep it.

Toying with the H/C/TB route, so just laying a little groundwork.

I'd be willing to be nothing needs to be done, as my guess would be:
  • 90mm TB has 4" OD, just like 78mm
  • Ls2 still uses the same 85mm MAF that the LS6'sd used
Keep in mind that this is pur Trukk guestimation. When I eventually go to a Fast 90/90, I'll need this answer also.

I'll lurk the rest of the way for facts though.
