Knowing that I plan on pulling my intake this summer to clean out passages, replace the starter, cam cover gaskets and such I'm wondering if the block on a 93 ETC will accept a newer style manifold... as silly as it may sound, I like the looks of the newer ones with the plastic cover held on by 4 nuts...
I also assume that there are redesigns in later years to improve flow et cetera.

:hmm:Input?:hmm:

Totally different. Over the years even the MAP was moved outside, manifolds changed radically in shape and install gasket/bolts changed.

Look in my albums for 2000+ intakes - no resemblance to yours, and 1996-1999 were different, too.

Not sure if you can or not, BUT if you can, you'd need to also change the TB and fuel rail as well. Maybe even some other parts. I don't think it would be worth the cost or effort just for appearance sake.
