Thanks, hoping not to have to deal with this in the near future, but it's good to know...FelPro (Federal Mogul) is an OEM supplier to many vehicle manufacturers. So are Mahle and Victor-Reinz - plus others. "AC Delco" is a re-box of any of the above - depends on which has the contracts this year.
Great job! You're right about the plugs and wires...not like the good old days of the 327 in the 67 Camaro! It was easy to do any thing on that car!Luckily FelPro was locally in stock, so I grabbed a new one and installed. Cad-driver…removing the intake manifold was actually easy and straight forward. In fact, changing the plugs and wires was more of a pain in my ass.

My grandpa used to tell me how they sat in the engine bay on older cars. How nice would that be?Great job! You're right about the plugs and wires...not like the good old days of the 327 in the 67 Camaro! It was easy to do any thing on that car!
There actually is quite a bit of space, but really kind of "down in there" to work on and reasonably fixable for the determined home mechanic...My grandpa used to tell me how they sat in the engine bay on older cars. How nice would that be?
I shouldn’t complain…after all the LQ9 is just massive.
Thanks Again! The Moderators are all gearheads, too. It's tough to wear the two hats sometimes.![]()
