Instrument Cluster Removal

Does anyone know how to remove the Hood (part of the dash) that sits on top of the instrument panel? Is it just fastened via clips like the thin trim line on front of the dash (on either side of the instrument cluster)? Seems like it but I want to confirm so I don't break it!

I'm removing the cluster to try and diagnose my blank Drivers Info Center (DIC) display. (2008 CTS BASE)

Thanks VERY much for the Diagrams! Looks like one screw at the top of the hood...How do I access the screw? I can't tell from the picture.
