 Got a question for you guys. I have a 99 SLS want to add a amp and 2 subs 12's. Problem is when I disconnect the factory 12 I lose the signal once I cut the radio off. So for instance when I have my amp and subs hooked up with a line out converter from the factory subs feeds if that sub isnt hooked up i wont get a signal. SO while the radio is playing if I hook that sub up i get bass from my new speakers. Now is there a way to get around that because it sounds great when i get signal but everytime I cut radio off I lose signal. I tried hook the Line output converter (LOC) to the input of the amp from the radio I get low bass (thats with the gain all the way up and Bass max) same goes for hooking to rear door speakers signal. What else can I try. Im thinking of just leaving the factory sub hooked up and installing a switch to those wires so I can just cut that speakers off once my new sub cut on. All I can think of doing. :banghead:
